World Ski Jumping Championships in Trondheim: Trial Series and Qualifications [LIVE REPORT]

The World Ski Jumping Championships have kicked off in Trondheim! On Thursday, February 28, the qualifications for the women’s individual competition on the normal hill (102 m) will begin. In Wednesday’s training sessions on the 102 m hill, three practice rounds were held. Among the Polish jumpers, Anna Twardosz performed the best with jumps ranking 26th, 32nd, and 18th, while Nicole Konderla secured qualifying positions on two occasions. The 18-year-old Pola Bełtowska, however, finished towards the end of the group.
A total of 69 female competitors are taking part in the qualification round. The first women’s competition is set to start at 14:00 on Friday, followed by men’s training jumps. The first individual men's contest is scheduled for Sunday at 17:00, and the championships will continue until Saturday, March 8. A detailed schedule is available via the provided link.
