The Olympic ski jump in Lillehammer will be ready for the inauguration of the 2024/25 World Cup season in ski jumping, which will take place on November 22-24. Despite the lack of winter weather, organizers have covered the facility with snow gathered from the previous season. The General Director of the cycle, Sandro Pertile, confirmed the site's readiness and thanked the hosts for their efforts.

Norwegian weather conditions are not yet resembling winter, which forced organizers to utilize previously collected snow. Pertile expressed satisfaction with the preparations, emphasizing the foresight of the organizers in creating a snow storage facility. "We are incredibly happy that everything is finally starting anew," Pertile said.

Competitions for both women and men will take place in Lillehammer. A mixed competition is scheduled for Friday, followed by two individual competitions for each gender on Saturday and Sunday. The Polish team coach, Thomas Thurnbichler, has decided that Maciej Kot, Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, Paweł Wąsek, and Aleksander Zniszczoł will participate in the events.

In the Polish national team's lineup for the Lillehammer competitions, Piotr Żyła will be absent as he is returning to form after a knee operation. If his rehabilitation goes well, Żyła will join the team for the competitions in Wisła, scheduled for December 7-8. Meanwhile, last season's Crystal Globe holder, Stefan Kraft from Austria, will also compete in Lillehammer.
