World Cup in Ski Jumping - Lillehammer: Qualifications [LIVE REPORT]
It's time for the second day of individual competition in the latest season of the Ski Jumping World Cup! The qualifications for the second individual competition on the HS 140 hill in Lillehammer began at 9:30 AM. Originally, these qualifications were scheduled for 2:45 PM, the same as on Saturday. Why the change?
This adjustment was made due to the anticipated snowstorm and concerns from the organizers. "Due to the forecasted snowstorm for Sunday, the men's qualifications were moved to 9:30 AM. The competition remains unchanged at 4 PM," wrote Kacper Merk from Eurosport on X.
Saturday's competition in Lillehammer ended with a victory for Germany's Pius Paschke. Four Austrians followed closely: Daniel Tschofenig, Maximilian Ortner, Stefan Kraft, and Jan Hoerl. Paweł Wąsek was the best Pole, finishing in 14th place. Aleksander Zniszczoł and Dawid Kubacki also advanced to the second round.
Join us for live coverage of the qualifications. The start is on November 24th at 9:30 AM.
