World Cup in Ski Jumping: Sunday Competitions in Engelberg

In Engelberg, Switzerland, the World Cup ski jumping competitions will take place on Sunday. Both women and men will compete in this event. The women's competition is scheduled to start at 11:10, with Polish jumpers Anna Twardosz, Nicole Konderla, and Natalia Słowik participating. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, only the men's qualifications will precede their competition, originally planned to start at 9:15, with the main event beginning at 16:00.
On Saturday, Anna Twardosz earned her first points of the season by finishing in 29th place. The best Polish performer during the last competition was Paweł Wąsek, who came in 11th. The athletes are aiming for strong performances in Sunday’s events, as Engelberg is an important stop in the World Cup calendar and provides thrilling competition on its ski jump.
The Polish team, coached by Thomas Thurnbichler, includes Kamil Stoch, Paweł Wąsek, Jakub Wolny, Aleksander Zniszczoł, and Piotr Żyła. They are looking forward to utilizing their experiences from Engelberg in the upcoming Four Hills Tournament.
