Ebba Andersson has won gold in the women's skiathlon at the World Championships. The Swedish athlete triumphed in a nail-biting finish against Norway’s Therese Johaug. Teresa Stadlober finished 16th, unable to secure a medal in her seventh World Championship appearance. Stadlober struggled to keep pace early in the race and found herself trailing significantly by the halfway mark. The event attracted approximately 16,000 spectators, including the Norwegian King Harald, who attended the competition for the first time. Despite a valiant effort, Johaug missed out on her 15th World Championship gold, while Andersson rejoices in her fourth title.
