Unbelievable! 52-year-old Noriaki Kasai outperformed... all Poles! This is a disgrace

It's hard to believe this result. During the Continental Cup competition on Friday in Engelberg, Switzerland, the 52-year-old Noriaki Kasai, a legend in ski jumping, performed excellently, finishing in 14th place and advancing to the second round. Moreover, his jump allowed him to outpace all the Polish athletes!

Despite his age, Kasai shows no signs of retiring from ski jumping. The legendary Japanese jumper, who started competing in the World Cup during the 1980s, is determined to continue competing at the international level. In the recent Continental Cup event, he confidently secured his place in the second series.

This is not the end. The 52-year-old athlete's 14th place gives him reason to be pleased. Leading was Germany's Felix Hoffmann, followed in the first series by Austrian Clemens Aigner and Japanese Junshiro Kobayashi. Kasai, however, surpassed... all the Polish skiers!

Poland's Klemens Joniak ended up in 20th place, Tymoteusz Amilkiewicz was 21st, Kacper Juroszek finished 24th, and Maciej Kot placed 26th. These four Polish competitors managed to advance to the second series, finishing behind Kasai, while Szymon Byrski and Andrzej Stękała did not qualify further.

The Continental Cup competitions are a lower tier than the World Cup. Let’s remember that the Four Hills Tournament starts on Saturday, which will take place over the next few days.
