Two-time world champion Nika Prevc (SLO) secured the 2024/25 Crystal Globe after triumphing in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup event in Oslo, Norway, on Thursday.

The World Cup season is not over yet, but the 19-year-old Slovenian already claimed the biggest prize of all when she secured the second Crystal Globe of her career. Prevc, who also was last season's overall winner, took her season tally to twelve World Cup victories after delivering two strong jumps in Oslo.

The Slovenian attained a combined total of 254.1 points for a commanding 27.9-point victory over 2025 World bronze medalist Anna Odine Stroem (NOR). Eirin Maria Kvandal (NOR) landed in third, 37.2 points behind Prevc.

It's Prevc's seventh consecutive World Cup victory this season.

Prevc in league of her own

Two-time individual world champion Prevc was in a league of her own in Norway and topped the first round with 124.4 points to take an early 12.1 points lead over Stroem and 20.8 points over Eirin Maria Kvandal (NOR).

Prevc further extended that lead with the second jump, which saw her score 129.7 points.

“I’m satisfied with my performance”, Prevc said afterward. “Even though I lost a little bit of feeling in the air in the second round. But I hope to get it back in Vikersund (this weekend)."

Going into today's competition, the Slovenian knew she only needed 45 points to successfully defend the Crystal Globe title she claimed in 2023/24.

Her latest success, which made her the first woman in history to win the Normal and Large Hill gold medals at the World Championships last week, showed she’s still in top form. She proved that once again when she claimed victory in Oslo.

Stroem builds on World Championships success

Norway's Anna Odine Stroem, who claimed individual bronze at the 2025 World Championships and was part of the Norwegian gold medal-winning teams in the Mixed and Women's events, continued her success from Trondheim to take silver.

It's her third World Cup podium finish this season, after second places in both Willingen and Oberstdorf (GER).

Teammate Eirin Maria Kvandal (NOR) joined her on the home snow podium with third place, while Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (AUT) landed in fourth.

Prevc leads Raw Air Tournament

Besides claiming victory ánd the Crystal Globe, Prevc took an early lead in the Overall Raw Air tournament ranking.

The event continues on Saturday, with the Ski Flying event in Vikersund, Norway. Prevc can become the third Slovenian to win the tour, after Nika Križnar (2022) and Emma Klinec (2023). Prevc finished in fifth last year.
