The first weekend of the World Cup season has come and gone, and unfortunately, Polish ski jumpers did not shine, which is reflected not only in the overall standings but also in their financial outcomes. Among the Polish athletes, Paweł Wąsek earned the most in Lillehammer, while the leader of the earnings list was German Pius Paschke.

In Lillehammer, Wąsek performed best among the Polish team, finishing in 14th place after a successful jump in the second round of the Saturday competition. However, he dropped to 23rd place on Sunday.

Given the overall results, it's no surprise that Wąsek earned the most among his compatriots in Lillehammer, taking home 3,850 Swiss francs, equivalent to about 18,000 PLN. Interestingly, this amount was the same as that earned by the more decorated Karl Geiger and Timi Zajc. In contrast, Aleksander Zniszczoł earned 2,750 Swiss francs (approximately 13,000 PLN), while Dawid Kubacki and Kamil Stoch earned merely 800 and 600 Swiss francs, respectively. Maciej Kot did not accumulate any earnings as he failed to score points.

Leading the earnings list, just as in the World Cup standings, is Pius Paschke with a remarkable 30,500 Swiss francs earned this weekend.
