TVN will not show the inauguration of the Ski Jumping World Cup. This change comes right at the start of the season. The opening competition of the new season of winter ski jumping will not be aired on TVN's channel. Although the network will broadcast both individual competitions taking place on Saturday and Sunday, it will not cover the mixed team competition on Friday. However, the event can still be watched on other channels.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for this moment for months — the upcoming weekend will kick off the new season of the Ski Jumping World Cup. While summer events such as the Summer Grand Prix have taken place, many believe that true competition begins with the winter season.

Poland will send a nine-member team to Lillehammer, Norway. Thomas Thurnbichler has selected Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Paweł Wąsek, and Maciej Kot. Additionally, Marcin Bachleda has chosen Anna Twardosz, Natalia Słowik, Pola Bełtowska, and Nicole Konderlę for the events in Norway.

The men's and women's individual competitions will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Before these, a mixed team event featuring two male and two female skiers from each nation will be held on Friday.

Since 2021, the Ski Jumping World Cup events were shown on TVN, but fans will not find coverage for the Friday competition there. Instead, the event will be broadcast on Eurosport, on the free METRO channel available on digital terrestrial television, and on the paid MAX platform.

This season will feature the first two competitions leading up to the Four Hills Tournament, which will take place as usual at the start of 2025, followed by the World Championships in Nordic Skiing in February and March next year.
