The World Cup ski jumping season is entering its decisive phase. Two competitions originally scheduled to be broadcast on TVN – the Thursday event in Oslo on March 13 and the Friday event in Planica on March 28 – have been rescheduled to the Metro station, as revealed by Adam Bucholz from skijumping.pl. Eurosport will continue broadcasting the events unchanged.

World-class jumpers are now focusing on the upcoming World Championships in Trondheim. Qualification rounds are set to begin on March 1 on the normal hill, followed by a competition on an HS102 hill on March 2, and another on an HS138 hill on March 8.

It has been confirmed that Kamil Stoch will not be part of the Polish national team for the Championships, after losing his spot to competitors such as Paweł Wąsek, Piotr Żyła, Dawid Kubacki, Aleksander Zniszczoł, and Jakub Wolny. Meanwhile, reigning world title defenders in 2023 – Katharina Schmid and Piotr Żyła on the normal hill, and Alexandria Loutitt and Timi Zajc on the large hill – have secured five starting spots in the qualification rounds for Germany, Poland, Canada, and Slovenia. In the team events, Germany (women and mixed team) and Slovenia (men) will defend their gold medals.
