We Wish Polish Ski Jumpers Good Luck: First Weekend with Ski Flying

In the ski flying qualifications held in Oberstdorf on Friday, Johann Andre Forfang jumped the furthest at 236 meters, surpassing Slovenia's Domen Prevc (220.5 m) and Austria's Michael Hayboeck (232 m). All Polish competitors successfully advanced to the competition.
Paweł Wąsek had the best jump among the Polish team, securing the 15th position with a distance of 210.5 meters, followed by Piotr Żyła in 17th (195.5 m), Jakub Wolny 23rd (189 m), Aleksander Zniszczoł 24th (200 m), and Kamil Stoch in 39th place (171.5 m).
The competitions will start at 16:30. A second contest will follow on Sunday, preceded by qualifications.
