Three-time Tournee winner withdraws from competition!

Kamil Stoch, a celebrated athlete with three victories in the Four Hills Tournament, has announced his decision to withdraw from this year's competition. The announcement was made by Poland's head coach, Thomas Thurnbichler, who explained that Stoch did not feel ready to compete this time around.

Due to this unexpected decision, Stoch will not be among the five-member team representing Poland, and fellow athlete Dawid Kubacki has secured his place in the lineup.

In the current season, Stoch's performances have not met expectations, with a fourteenth-place finish in Ruka being his best result thus far.

Thurnbichler remains hopeful regarding Stoch's prospects for the World Championships in Trondheim next February, stating, "If he feels ready, we will conduct a qualification test to earn a spot on the team for the World Championships."

The opening jump of the Four Hills Tournament is scheduled for December 29 in Oberstdorf, followed by the New Year's Jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen three days later. The first competition on Austrian soil will occur on January 4 in Innsbruck, concluding with the final event on January 6 in Bischofshofen.
