The crisis in Polish ski jumping endures with Adam Małysz, president of the Polish Ski Association, publicly expressing his concerns. "I must call and ask what's going on," he commented regarding the future of coach Thomas Thurnbichler. Director Alexander Stoeckl has also addressed these questions, confirming that Thurnbichler has a contract until 2026.

Polish jumpers have not shown noticeable improvement in their performances. In the first competition of the Four Hills Tournament, only Paweł Wąsek managed a decent jump, finishing in tenth place, while Jakub Wolny and others did not score points. Małysz described the situation as a crisis.

He stressed the importance of open discussions about the team's direction, especially given the considerable financial investment and the lack of results. Małysz pointed out the need for a solid strategy, insisting on discussions particularly with Stoeckl about the emerging issues.

Despite ongoing inquiries about potential changes before the season ends, Małysz firmly stated that altering the coaching staff at this moment would be unwise. The situation remains tense as Polish ski jumping hopes for a turnaround in the upcoming competitions.
