Thomas Thurnbichler has announced the team for the World Cup events in Wisła, scheduled for the upcoming weekend. As expected, the lineup includes the Polish jumpers we saw in Ruka: Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, and Jakub Wolny.

Additionally, the coaching staff has decided that Maciej Kot, who participated in the season opener in Lillehammer, will also take part, along with Piotr Żyła, Kacper Juroszek, and Andrzej Stękała. This will be a first outing for these three this winter.

Żyła is entering the season later than his fellow experienced competitors due to knee surgery he underwent during the training period.

"From day one, Piotrek was very motivated to return to a high level, but it was obvious that the operation and break would affect his form. I expected that he might not be at his peak for the start of the season. At the last camp in Wisła, he didn't lag far behind the others and seemed confident in his jumps. Now he has three weeks to stabilize his form and compete for a place in the World Cup," said Thomas Thurnbichler before the season began.

Here's the lineup for the Polish team for the World Cup in Wisła.
