The Czech coach noted significant developments in Poland's sports infrastructure since he last coached there. 'The Beskidy Mountains now offer excellent sports facilities, making it ideal for clubs and young athletes,' he remarked. Dolezal also expressed a strong sense of community in Poland and mentioned how he was approached by Stoch to become his personal coach after Stoch decided to part ways with the national team.

This shift came after Stoch had struggled through the last season, prompting him to contemplate his future in the sport. Despite the change, Stoch's results at the start of the new season have been modest, placing him outside the top rankings in recent events. Dolezal hopes to help Stoch regain his form and improve his standings in upcoming competitions, emphasizing that significant growth has been made in Polish ski jumping since his previous tenure.
