Originally published in Sportschau on November 29, 2024
In Ruka, the wind conditions proved to be too severe, preventing the ski jumpers from undergoing their qualification rounds on November 29, 2024. Consequently, the qualification has been rescheduled to take place directly before the competition on Saturday, starting at 15:30 CET.
German ski jumper Pius Paschke expressed his excitement about competing in Ruka, considering it one of the most exciting event venues on the calendar besides ski flying ramps. He leads the overall World Cup standings for the first time after winning and placing second in Lillehammer, and he will be competing in his yellow jersey during the event on Saturday.
