The FIS Grand Prix 2024 for ski jumpers is set to kick off in Courchevel, France, on August 13 and 14. Athletes will compete in two events each on the HS 132 large hill, nestled in the stunning French Alps. After Courchevel, the Grand Prix will continue with stops in Wisla (Poland), Rasnov (Romania), Hinzenbach (Austria) (men only), and Klingenthal (Germany), forming a vibrant competition calendar for the season. This summer's series features two action-packed segments for both men and women, occurring in August and again at the end of September through early October. Notably, with the exception of Hinzenbach, all events will see both genders competing together.

In response to teams' requests for a more concentrated schedule, the FIS has revamped the format of the Grand Prix.

Star-Studded Lineup in Courchevel

The opening in France boasts an array of elite athletes. From Austria, the entire A-team, including the reigning overall World Cup champion Stefan Kraft and Daniel Huber, the Ski Flying World Cup champion, will be competing.

The German team features standout athletes like Karl Geiger and Markus Eisenbichler, the latter being particularly noteworthy as he returns from an extended break.

Polish contender Dawid Kubacki will also join the fray, alongside Gregor Deschwanden from Switzerland, who aims to replicate his impressive results from last summer.

In the women's competition, watch for the top talents, including Nika Prevc, the overall World Cup champion from Slovenia, and Alexandria Loutitt, the World Champion from Canada.
