So far this World Cup season, Norway has secured six podium finishes. Strøm has one second place under her belt, while Bjørseth has earned a third place finish. Eirin Maria Kvandal has achieved three second places and one third this season but did not compete in today's event.

Team coach Christian Meyer noted that the focus is on developing their athletes, with an eye on the upcoming competitions in Sapporo on January 18 and 19.

A normal hill competition is scheduled in Villach on Monday, preceding the World Cup rounds in Sapporo. The highlight of the season will be the World Championships in Granåsen at the end of February or early March.
