
Stefan Kraft Breaks World Cup Podium Record with Zakopane Win

Austrian ski jumper Stefan Kraft made headlines on Sunday with an impressive victory in Zakopane, Poland, where he shattered the record for the most World Cup podium finishes in skiing history. His remarkable triumph brought his career podium total to 109, surpassing the previous record set by Finnish legend Janne Ahonen.
The 30-year-old Austrian showcased his extraordinary talent with two impressive jumps of 137 and 134 meters, which earned him the coveted top position on the podium. Following Kraft were Andreas Wellinger from Germany and Anze Lanisek from Slovenia. This victory was particularly significant as it also led Austria to clinch the overall Polish Tour title, narrowly edging out Slovenia.
Thanks to this latest success, Kraft has widened his lead in the World Cup rankings, now boasting a substantial 252-point advantage over Wellinger.
