Stefan Kraft Dominates Summer Grand Prix as Two Poles Shine in Top Ten

In a thrilling display of skill and resilience, Stefan Kraft triumphed in the second competition of the Summer Grand Prix held in Courchevel, France. The Austrian athlete not only clinched victory but also established a commanding lead over his rivals. The standout Pole was Dawid Kubacki, who finished in seventh place amidst challenging windy conditions that hampered many competitors.

The Summer Grand Prix resumed on Tuesday at the Tremplin du Praz hill in Courchevel after a brief hiatus. In the opening event, Polish athletes struggled to make an impact, with Kubacki finishing a disappointing 13th. Meanwhile, Kraft demonstrated his prowess once again, taking first place, joined on the podium by Valentin Foubert and Italy’s Alex Insam, both of whom surprised spectators with their performances.

As the second day of the competition unfolded, all Polish athletes successfully advanced to the finals after the first series. Aleksander Zniszczoł impressed by securing fifth place, closely followed by Kubacki in sixth. However, the unpredictable wind conditions transformed the event into a lottery, leading to delays in the start of the second series and resulting in uneven scoring.

In the final series, neither Zniszczoł nor Kubacki could ascend to the podium. Kubacki ultimately settled for seventh, while Zniszczoł finished eighth. Kraft continued to dominate, winning the series yet again, with Freddie Villumstad and Valentin Foubert rounding out the top three positions with impressive finishes.
