
Ski-VM in Trondheim: Bronze Medal for Anna Odine Strøm

Anna Odine Strøm replicated her result from the previous World Championships, taking home a bronze medal in the normal hill event in Trondheim. About 5,000 spectators witnessed the event, according to Championship director Åge Skinstad. Chief of Jumping, Jan-Erik Aalbu expressed his disappointment regarding the turnout.
“I think that was a bit disappointing. There were more people here when there was combined earlier today. I was disappointed to see that, and I sincerely hope it improves as the week progresses,” said Aalbu to NRK.
He noted that the approximately 9,500 school children who attended earlier would have left the event, contributing to the fewer remaining spectators. “Those who purchased tickets stayed behind, and I think they maintained a good atmosphere,” Skinstad mentioned to NRK.
