*In this ski jumping event, Katharina Schmid continued her strong form, although she just missed out on a consecutive victory. With jumps measuring 91.5 meters and 90.0 meters, she finished second, 7.1 points behind Austria's Eva Pinkelnig, who jumped 95.5 meters and 97.0 meters. Slovenia's Nika Prevc took third place with jumps of 90.5 and 93.0 meters.

The competition faced challenging wind conditions, yet five German athletes reached the second round, showcasing their resilience. Schmid began the final round seventh and impressively surged onto the podium with a jump over 90 meters, just behind Pinkelnig and Prevc.

Selina Freitag had also performed well earlier but fell to fifth in the finals. Meanwhile, there was disappointment for Juliane Seyfarth, who ended up 22nd after her jumps, and for Anna Hollandt, who expressed her frustration over her 28th place finish.

After the competition, confidence remains high amongst the DSV ski jumpers, despite the challenges, looking forward to upcoming events.
