Ski Jumping: Kraft's Statement in Qualifiers at Bischofshofen - Wellinger Ninth

Stefan Kraft, the overall leader of the Four Hills Tournament, dominated the qualification round in Bischofshofen, winning with a jump of 142 meters. Andreas Wellinger showed an impressive performance as well, landing in the top 10 with a ninth-place finish, jumping 134.5 meters. The German team qualified successfully with all members making the cut.

In the qualifiers for the critical fourth jump, the tension is high with just 1.3 points separating Kraft, Hörl, and Tschofenig.

Wellinger remarked on his performance, expressing satisfaction and indicating signs of stability in his jumps: "I’ve picked up where I left off in Innsbruck," he says, indicating confidence heading into the decisive competition.

Competitors like Pius Paschke and Philipp Raimund also made their mark, with Paschke finishing 13th and Raimund taking 15th. The teams are keenly looking forward to the final jump on January 6th, 2025, as the competition for the golden eagle intensifies in Bischofshofen.
