When are the Ski Jumping World Cup Competitions? Here’s the 2024/25 Season Schedule
Originally published in Przegląd Sportowy on February 02, 2025
Ski Jumping
Ski jumping is back as the top World Cup circuit returns with competitions featuring the world’s best ski jumpers. Fans can expect a long season filled with thrilling competitions and spectacular flying distances by individual athletes. While the focus is naturally on the Polish team, a breakthrough performance from the home squad does not seem likely.
A Tough Season for the Polish Team
Last season, only Aleksander Zniszczoł managed to reach the podium in a World Cup event by finishing 19th in the overall standings. Piotr Żyła and Kamil Stoch ended up in 25th and 26th places respectively, while Dawid Kubacki, Paweł Wąsek, and Maciej Kot finished 28th, 47th, and 55th. There is hope that at least one of the Polish jumpers will be able to challenge the top ten in the upcoming season.
World Cup Ski Jumping 2024/25 – Broadcasting
As in previous seasons, the main broadcasting rights for the Ski Jumping World Cup are held by TVN and Eurosport. These channels will broadcast the competitions featuring the world’s top ski jumpers. A few events will also be shown on Telewizja Polska, but for full coverage, TVN and Eurosport remain the only choice.
When is the Next Competition?
The next individual events will take place in Lake Placid – with the first competition on Saturday and the second one on Sunday.
