Less than a year after Ljubno, Slovenia, faced extensive flood damage, the HS 94 ski jump has been successfully restored to its former glory.

In August 2023, a catastrophic flood wreaked havoc across large areas of Slovenia, impacting the municipality of Ljubno and its renowned ski jumping facility, located northeast of Ljubljana.

In the aftermath of the disaster, local operators launched a fundraising campaign to seek support and donations for the necessary repairs.

Thanks to generous contributions and the tireless efforts of many volunteers, the ski jump is now in excellent condition, ready to welcome athletes once again.

A Grateful Community
"SSK Ljubno and the Organizing Committee would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the International Ski Federation (FIS), race directors Chika Yoshida and Sandro Pertile, the National Ski Federation, and all our ski friends and supporters who contributed to the repair efforts, Ljubno is prepared for the challenges ahead," said the organizers.

The renovated ski jump is set to make its mark again as Ljubno re-enters the women's World Cup calendar on February 15 and 16.
