
Seifriedsberger Places Fourth in Sapporo Ski Jumping as Before

In the women's World Cup ski jumping event that took place in Sapporo, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger once again placed fourth, replicating her result from the previous day. After jumps measuring 126 meters and 124 meters, she totaled 219.8 points, finishing 6.9 points behind the third-place Norwegian, Thea Minyan Björseth.
Eirin Maria Kvandal from Norway dominated the event with jumps of 129.5 and 136.5 meters, securing the win with a total of 248.5 points, 20.5 points ahead of German competitor Selina Freitag.
The Austrian team also saw success with Eva Pinkelnig and Lisa Eder finishing in 9th and 10th places respectively, contributing to a collective strong performance from the team. Julia Mühlbacher finished in 22nd place. Notably, the 17-year-old Meghann Wadsak qualified for the event, but did not advance to the second round this time.
Looking ahead, the competition will continue in Japan with events lined up this week in Zao, including individual competitions and a super team event.
