This year, the ski jumping season will not conclude in Planica. Fans can still look forward to the excitement surrounding the Red Bull Ski Jumping event. On Saturday, five teams will compete at Wielka Krokiew, led by legendary captains: Adam Małysz, Martin Schmitt, Thomas Morgenstern, Gregor Schlierenzauer, and Andreas Goldberger.

Interestingly, their attempts at the K-4 jump will kickstart the competition. The achieved distances will be supplemented by their other team members, with the goal of collectively getting as close as possible to a total of 1000 meters across eight jumps. The winning team will be the one that approximates this figure most accurately.

Here are the team rosters for Red Bull Ski Jumping:

Adam Małysz's Team:
- Ryoyu Kobayashi (Japan)
- Paweł Wąsek (Poland)
- Domen Prevc (Slovenia)
- Tate Frantz (USA)

Martin Schmitt's Team:

- Dawid Kubacki (Poland)
- Anze Lanisek (Slovenia)
- Stephan Embacher (Austria)

Thomas Morgenstern's Team:

Ski Jumping is a completely new competition format for the participants. This reveals that the current form of the jumpers may not be as crucial. Strategy employed by the captains and perhaps a bit of creativity from the participants could play major roles.

Will Gregor Schlierenzauer aim for his sixth victory at Wielka Krokiew? Among the captains, he has had the most success at the Zakopane venue. His team’s experience may provide an advantage, comprising seasoned competitive jumpers who know their potentials thoroughly.

Adam Małysz’s team consists of skiers who have recently been in peak form, including top representatives from their national teams.

Martin Schmitt also assembled a strong team of young yet experienced jumpers who have had numerous successes.

Saturday’s event starts at 16:00. Detailed information regarding the event, including schedule and tickets, is available on the official Red Bull website.
