Ready for the Tour - ÖSV Eagles Achieve Triple Victory in Engelberg!

The second ski jumping event in Engelberg proved fruitful for the Austrian team, the ÖSV Eagles, as they achieved a remarkable triple victory within 24 hours. Daniel Tschofenig triumphed ahead of Jan Hörl and Stefan Kraft. This success positions the athletes well ahead of the upcoming Four Hills Tournament, which begins on December 29.

Despite currently being behind in the overall World Cup standings, with Pius Paschke leading, Tschofenig remains determined but humble. After a solid performance with jumps of 135 and 137.5 meters, he emphasized the importance of teamwork and focus on future competitions, highlighting his respect for Paschke's current standing in the rankings.

The event faced some delays due to heavy snowfall, which also led to the cancellation of the women's event just hours earlier. Ultimately, the competition took place under manageable conditions. Kraft expressed satisfaction with the collective performance of the team, suggesting they should aim for a victory in the Tour as they displayed great form throughout the weekend.
