Five Austrian ski jumpers have made their mark in the qualification round at Oberstdorf, with a strong team performance. Michael Hayböck took the third spot with a jump of 236 meters, securing his place among the top contenders.

Johann Andre Forfang from Norway achieved the highest jump of the day at 220.3 points, solidifying his lead. Domen Prevc, the Slovenian competitor, followed closely behind at 220.2 points. Hayböck's performance was further bolstered by the contributions of teammates who also performed excellently, placing them firmly within the top ranks.

Other notable performances included Maximilian Ortner in 5th place, Daniel Tschofenig in 7th, and Stefan Kraft in 8th. Jan Hörl also qualified, further showcasing the depth of talent within the Austrian team.
