Live coverage of the Ski Jumping World Cup in Oberstdorf: Trial series and individual competition

Ski jumping

Today, ski jumpers will compete for the first time this season in ski flying. The World Cup has arrived at the mammoth jumping hill in Oberstdorf. All Polish athletes — Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Jakub Wolny, Kamil Stoch, and Piotr Żyła — will be participating in the first competition. The preliminary rounds brought considerable excitement, especially as Stoch nearly missed qualifying for the event due to a narrow margin.

Polish fans are surely counting on Wąsek, who has been leading the Polish team in recent weeks and regularly finishes among the top competitors in the World Cup standings. He was also the best performer for Poland in Friday's qualifying, finishing in 15th place with a jump of 210.5 meters. However, the weather might pose a challenge, as warnings for gusty winds have been issued starting from noon today in Oberstdorf.

Will more of our jumpers surpass the 200-meter mark this afternoon? Who will stand on the podium? Join us for live coverage starting with the trial series at 3:00 PM and the first round scheduled for 4:30 PM.
