World Cup in Ski Jumping - Lillehammer: Qualifications and Individual Competition [LIVE REPORT]

The Ski Jumping World Cup is set to kick off its first individual event of the 2024/2025 season in Lillehammer. The elite of ski jumping will compete for their initial points in what promises to be an exciting competition, starting with qualifications at 14:45 and the main event at 16:00.
This season marks an exciting beginning as it opens with a mixed team competition, a historical first. The Polish team, composed of Nicole Konderla, Paweł Wąsek, Anna Twardosz, and Aleksander Zniszczoł, achieved a commendable seventh place, with Germany taking the win.
In the upcoming individual competition, Wąsek and Zniszczoł will be joined by fellow Polish jumpers Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, and Maciej Kot. All eyes are on Wąsek, who secured sixth place in the unofficial individual rankings, giving fans hope for a strong performance from the Polish athletes this season.
