The Sunday World Cup competition in women’s ski jumping in Vikersund, Norway, was canceled due to excessively strong winds. Nika Prevc won the Raw Air series with a total of 455.2 points, followed by Norway's Eirin Maria Kvandal with 371.3 points and Anna Odine Stroem with 357.2 points.
The competition was originally scheduled to start at 10:30 AM, but the start was continuously delayed because of the wind. Ultimately, the decision was made to call off the event. Later in the afternoon, the men's competition is also scheduled to take place, but it is still unclear whether it will proceed as planned.
This cancellation impacted Prevc’s chance to secure even more points, but she still leads the overall classification with 1733 points, ahead of Germany's Selina Freitag with 1133 points. In the ranking, Anna Twardosz sits at 32nd place with 67 points and Pola Bełtowska at 58 points.
The next and final competition for the women will be held in Lahti from March 20-23, 2025.
