In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Nika Prevc is well on her way to repeating her success from last year at the Two Nights Tour. In the opening jump, she showcased her skill with two impressive leaps, securing a dominant victory. German jumper Agnes Reisch surprised everyone with her performance, previously setting a hill record of 136 meters during qualifications, but her final jump of 126 meters placed her off the podium.

Prevc, the reigning champion, jumped 134 and 135.5 meters, putting her ahead of Norwegian Eirin Maria Kvandal and Austrian Eva Pinkelnig, who both performed admirably. Even with their strong showings, they couldn't catch the Slovenian star.

Selina Freitag, who won the qualification round previously, struggled during the competition with jumps of 125 and 128.5 meters, settling for eighth place. Katharina Schmid also faced challenges, finishing fifth with jumps that did not meet her usual standard.

The event implemented a knockout system for the competition this year, which saw 30 jumpers competing instead of the typical 40. Contestants faced off in pairs, with the top performers advancing directly to the final round, while the five best losers also secured spots as 'Lucky Losers.'

As the competition evolves, the anticipation builds for the upcoming rounds. With Nika Prevc's continued excellence, can she once again claim victory in the Two Nights Tour?
