The Polish Summer Championships in ski jumping are taking place today, with a live competition report. Dawid Kubacki is defending his title as the summer champion in ski jumping! Excitement builds as one of the last competitions on artificial turf for this year is about to unfold. The individual competition in Zakopane will see participation from 85 competitors, although one notable name is absent due to injury.
In the previous season, Kubacki showcased remarkable skills, winning at the normal hill in Szczyrk alongside podium finishes by Piotr Żyła and Kamil Stoch. This year, Stoch is absent due to a knee injury he is still recovering from.
Interestingly, this year's championship will be held without a wind compensation system because of a technical failure from the service provider, Ewoxx, which is unable to manage the event in Zakopane. Unfortunately, there are no alternative options available as Swiss Timing is not servicing national competitions.
Who will emerge as the winner of the Polish Summer Championships? Join us for the live report from this event. The individual competition in ski jumping starts on October 18 at 5:30 PM.
