The Ski World Cup season in ski jumping is nearing its grand finale, and coach Thomas Thurnbichler has selected the squad for the final events set to take place in Planica. The Austrian coach made few surprises this time, relying on the established names supported by Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł, and Jakub Wolny. The coach announced the names of the six Polish jumpers who will travel to Slovenia.

The roster includes: Dawid Kubacki, Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Kamil Stoch, Jakub Wolny, and Piotr Żyła. This team aims to deliver the best possible performance as the season comes to a close. Stoch, a three-time Olympic champion, and veteran Żyła will be crucial cogs in the team alongside Kubacki, Zniszczoł, Wąsek, and Wolny, who is returning after less frequent starts.

The competition in Planica will kick off on Thursday, March 27, with official training at 8:00 AM and qualifications at 10:00 AM. On Friday, March 28, athletes will face off in the first individual competition (trial series at 2:00 PM and start at 3:00 PM). Saturday, March 29, will be the day for the team competition – with the trial series at 8:00 AM and the competition starting at 9:30 AM. The season finale will occur on Sunday, March 30, with the second individual competition (trial series at 8:30 AM and start at 9:30 AM).
