Best ski jumpers are earning significant financial rewards for their victories in the World Cup competitions. However, when compared to many athletes from other sports, their earnings still fall short. Polish jumpers, particularly Aleksander Zniszczoł, have not started the winter season successfully, currently placing 16th in the standings.

On Saturday, the competition in Engelberg was dominated by Austrians. Following the first series, Daniel Tschofenig led the pack but ultimately lost to Jan Hoerl in the final series. The Austrians capitalized on the misfortune of current World Cup leader Pius Paschke, who finished in 10th place.

Paschke maintains a substantial advantage in the overall standings, as well as leading in earnings, having already amassed over 133,000 Swiss francs this season, while Hoerl earned nearly 85,000 Swiss francs. Tschofenig closely follows him with nearly 84,000 Swiss francs.

Among the Polish competitors, Zniszczoł leads the earnings chart, having made 17,950 Swiss francs this season, well behind the top earners. His compatriot, Paweł Wąsek, has earned 17,850 Swiss francs, and Kamil Stoch ranks 26th with 7,700 Swiss francs. Sunday will see the second individual competition of the World Cup at the Gross Titlis Schanze, commencing at 16:00.
