All details are now clear regarding the Polish team for the mixed competition at the Ski Jumping World Championships! After Tuesday's training sessions, the team lineup for the competition on Wednesday was finalized. Dawid Kubacki and Aleksander Zniszczoł will join Anna Twardosz and Pola Bełtowska, who all performed the best in training on the large hill. There is one notable surprise in this decision as Paweł Wąsek, who is currently the highest-ranked Polish jumper in the World Cup, was omitted from the team. Thomas Thurnbichler, the coach of the team, commented on this situation, expressing that even though Wąsek is their best jumper, stability in training sessions of Kubacki and Zniszczoł secured their spots in the lineup for the mixed event as well as for the men's team competition, with only one spot remaining for the latter.
The Polish Ski Association announced that the mixed team competition on the HS138 hill will take place on March 5th at 4:00 PM. This will certainly be an exciting event to watch!
