Piotr Żyła is on the road to recovery after undergoing knee surgery, which unfortunately sidelined him from the Summer Grand Prix. In a recent update, he expressed his optimism, stating, "It's been a long time since things were this good."
The offseason break for jumpers allowed him the necessary time for surgery, and now he is excited about returning to his beloved sport. On September 11, he shared more good news regarding his health: "The surgery went well. I can't wait to get back to the jumping hills. I might be able to compete in the LGP events in Hinzenbach, but I'll take my time. My aim is to participate in the Polish Championships in October, and when winter arrives, we'll go full throttle!"
During his recovery, Žyła has been spending time at home, making banana smoothies and occasionally whipping up some soup. Though he admits that he didn’t jump much over the summer, he feels rejuvenated and is eager to hit the slopes again.
