In the lead-up to the World Championships, the second training session on the normal hill in Trondheim saw Polish ski jumper Paweł Wąsek achieve a notable distance of 98 meters, a significant improvement of 10 meters from his earlier attempt. This result placed him among the leading contenders, sparking optimism for the upcoming qualification rounds and competition scheduled for Sunday.

During the first round, Piotr Żyła was the leading Polish jumper with a jump of 97 meters, ranking him in 8th place. Dawid Kubacki followed closely with a distance of 96 meters, securing 13th place.

In the second training session, the atmosphere heated up as several competitors surpassed the 100-meter mark. The standout jump came from Anže Lanisek, soaring to 102.5 meters, earning him the top position in the session. Wąsek's improvement was a welcome news for Polish fans, and his teammates showed solid performances as well.
