During the competition in Willingen, five Polish ski jumpers qualified for the upcoming World Cup contest. Despite difficult wind conditions affecting the jumpers, the Polish team managed to claim their spots in the contest.

Dawid Kubacki, who jumped 129 meters, surprised many by becoming the best among the Polish representatives after finishing 15th overall, narrowly missing the podium by just 3.7 points. In contrast, Paweł Wąsek, who was expected to be among the top finishers, only managed a jump of 120.5 meters and ended up in 27th place.

Other athletes, including Jakub Wolny, Aleksander Zniszczoł, and Piotr Żyła, also secured their places in the contest. In the qualification round, the Slovene Anze Lanisek won with a 146.5-meter jump.
