Paweł Wąsek, the Polish ski jumper, had an eventful debut in Lake Placid during the opening World Cup contest of the season. He finished in 11th place, a respectable result that comes with additional good news off the jump track.
In this season’s World Cup, Wąsek has now earned more than 50,000 Swiss francs (approximately 222,500 PLN), surpassing a magic financial barrier.
