Østvold with a huge jump – all Norwegians ready for the jumping week finale

Benjamin Østvold achieved a tremendous jump of 139.5 meters in the Austrian hill, finishing with only six jumpers ahead of him on the leaderboard.

Stefan Kraft, who is leading the Four Hills Tournament, secured the top position with a jump of 142 meters, coming from two lower speed ramps than Østvold. The 31-year-old was in a class of his own.

Maximilian Ortner, who placed second, was only 3.8 points ahead of Østvold, who finished in seventh place.

Johann André Forfang is also competing at the top of the tournament's standings but appeared somewhat dissatisfied with his jump of 132.5 meters at Paul Ausserleitner Hill in Bischofshofen, resulting in a 14th place finish as the second-best Norwegian.

Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal landed at 134 meters but was considerably behind Forfang.

Marius Lindvik also qualified for the final event after achieving a jump of 128.5 meters alongside Halvor Egner Granerud, who jumped 125.5 meters.

Fredrik Villumstad barely made the cut with a landing of only 122.5 meters, placing him as the third-to-last who secured a spot in the event.

Austrian Kraft leads the tournament after three events, followed closely by his compatriots Jan Hörl and Daniel Tschofenig.

Swiss Gregor Deschwanden is in fourth place, while Forfang stands as the best Norwegian in fifth place, trailing Tschofenig by 33 points, which will be challenging to overcome.

At the same time, Sundal ranks as the second-best Norwegian in tenth place, while Østvold comes in at 14th.
