In 2006, both Janne Ahonen and Jakub Janda recorded the same scores after four competitions in the Four Hills Tournament. This year, with just one event remaining, three jumpers are competing closely, prompting organizers to ensure they are ready for anything.
"Don’t worry, we have 3 or even 4 of these Golden Eagles," replied the spokesperson for the event in an interview with TVP Sport journalist Michał Chmielewski.
As things stand before the final event of the 73rd Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen, the outcome will likely be decided among three Austrians — Stefan Kraft, Jan Hoerl, and Daniel Tschofenig. The experienced jumper holds a slim lead of 0.6 and 1.3 points over his younger teammates. Although it seems unlikely, the organizers have stated they are prepared to announce a shared victory if necessary.
The organizers of the Four Hills Tournament are ready to handle any situation.
