Broadcast Blunder at Summer Grand Prix in Ski Jumping

While Paweł Wąsek basked in the glory of an impressive weekend—winning both competitions at the Summer Grand Prix in Râsnov—an unfortunate blunder occurred during the televised event. Wąsek ended the weekend celebrating his second-place victory, finishing just ten points shy of the leader, Alex Insam.
As the podium ceremony unfolded, competitors were flanked by volunteers holding flags representing their respective countries. While the flags for Rena Nikaido in third and Insam in first were correctly displayed, Wąsek's flag was incorrect. The colors were jumbled, leading to a resemblance more akin to the flags of Monaco or Indonesia than that of Wąsek's actual country.
In light of the mishap, Dominik Formela, a journalist for Skijumping.pl, humorously quipped: "Paweł Wąsek, a great talent from Monaco... Charles Leclerc must be proud of his countryman."
