Ski Jumping World Championships in Trondheim
Excitement is in the air in Trondheim! Poland's sole participant in the normal hill World Championships has just completed her trial jump. The 23-year-old jumped a distance of 83.5m, securing the 29th position. Our representative is in a position to compete fiercely for the best possible result. A solid first jump will be essential to advance into the final round.
The trial jump was won by Slovenia's Nika Prevc, who earlier clinched victory in the qualifying round with a remarkable jump of 104 meters, the only jumper to exceed the 100m mark today. She surpassed Norwegians Eirin Maria Kvandal (98.5m) and Anna Odine Strøm (97m).
The first series of the World Championship competition is set to begin at 14:00, followed by official training for the jumpers at 17:00, immediately after the ladies' event concludes and the best performers are awarded.
