Men's Ski Jumping Only at Rescheduled Summer Grand Prix in Wisla

The upcoming Summer Grand Prix in Wisla Malinka will see only male ski jumpers take to the slopes, as the women’s event has been canceled due to a lack of registered teams. This announcement came from the International Ski Federation (FIS), as confirmed by a statement from the Polish Ski Association.

Originally slated for August 17-18, the competition was pushed back to September 14-15 because of slope problems. Regrettably, the women’s event could not be rescheduled, as many teams opted to participate in the Continental Cup in Trondheim, Norway, which coincides with the same weekend. This decision reflects the teams' preparations for the upcoming World Championships scheduled for February 25 to March 2, 2025.

While the women will miss this event, the men’s competitions will go ahead as planned. After Wisla on September 14-15, the tour will continue to Rasnov, Romania, on September 21-22, followed by events in Hinzenbach, Austria, and the culminating final in Klingenthal, Germany, on October 5-6, which will include a mixed event.
