Originally published in FIS Ski on August 29, 2024
The anticipated replacement events for the FIS Women's Grand Prix Ski Jumping in Wisla, which were originally slated for August 17 and 18, have been officially cancelled. Furthermore, the events that were rescheduled for September 14 and 15 will also not take place. Several nations have already registered their teams for the ICOC competitions scheduled in Trondheim, Norway, on the same weekend. These competitions and their accompanying training sessions are vital for athletes as they prepare for the upcoming World Championships.
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships are set to occur in Trondheim from February 25 to March 2, 2025.
Meanwhile, the men's competitions will proceed as planned in Wisla on September 14 and 15. The women's ski jumping Grand Prix will resume alongside the men's events on the weekend of September 21 and 22 in Râșnov, Romania.
