On October 20, 2024, Kubacki expressed how lighter and more rested he feels compared to last year, crediting fewer training camps and more time for recovery.

He mentioned that despite facing heavy training sessions, he does not feel as drained as in the previous season. Kubacki indicated that he was overwhelmed not just physically but mentally as well.

With his new training program, Kubacki feels optimistic about improving his performance this season.
