Harsh Reckoning - Kubacki on Thurnbichler: "Borders on a Crime!"

Dawid Kubacki, the Polish ski jumper, has firmly criticized his former coach Thomas Thurnbichler, stating that his approach over the past two and a half years has caused intense dysfunction within the team. Kubacki expressed frustration at how Thurnbichler stifled team dynamics, saying, "If you see someone throwing a club between the legs of an athlete, especially when it comes from the head coach, it’s hard to enjoy the sport." This public criticism comes after the Polish Ski President Adam Malysz confirmed Thurnbichler’s dismissal, with Kubacki lamenting the lack of stability in coaching that could have kept the team united. Following Thurnbichler's departure, team member Kamil Stoch has reportedly started working with an individual coach, which reflects serious unrest caused by the coaching methods employed during Thurnbichler's tenure. Kubacki further noted, "I don’t want to go into too much detail, but what he did to make life difficult for Kamil borders on a crime!"
