Klemens Murańka has decided to retire from ski jumping at the young age of 30. Reflecting on his career, he expressed, "In a moment, I realized that I had enough and no longer wanted to deal with ski jumping. I prefer to live a normal life. When I was a jumper, I had to keep a strict discipline, but now I feel great comfort without that pressure."
Murańka made his mark in the sport at a young age, debuting in the World Cup when he was just 13 years old. His greatest achievement came in 2015 when he won a bronze medal in the team competition at the World Championships. Despite the early promise, his career did not reach the heights many had expected.
Moving forward, Murańka has set up a guesthouse with his wife and is focusing on family life, helping raise their children. He may also pursue a coaching career in the future, stating, "I have a lot of knowledge about the sport, and I would like to return to it someday after I take a break."
This decision highlights his journey, leaving behind the rigorous demands of ski jumping while preparing for a more relaxed and fulfilling life ahead.
